We Need to Talk
Season 10 Rebrand

We Need To Talk is the first all-women’s sports talk show, featuring a wide range of influential voices in the industry. For its 10th season, we refreshed the visual identity to feel more contemporary, expressive, and adaptable across platforms.

Role: Art Direction
Design: Jane Holland
Illustration: Kasiq Jungwoo
Motion: Fabien León

Visual System

The identity was built around a modular system of illustrated portrait “tiles,” each combining a unique color palette, composition, and typographic treatment.

Working with illustrator Kasiq Jungwoo, we developed a flexible framework where individual talent could be highlighted or grouped dynamically, allowing the system to scale across different topics, formats, and moments.

Typography & Tone

The visual language balanced bold, energetic typography with a more approachable tone, reflecting the personality of the show. Type and color were used to create contrast and rhythm across layouts, giving the system flexibility while maintaining cohesion.

Implementation

The system was primarily used across on-air and promotional assets, with adaptations across additional platforms.  All touchpoints were aligned visually, while allowing for variation across talent and topics.
